Hi, I'm Matt.

I've been telling stories with my photos since 2015.

Matt Grandbois

I’m originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and first picked up a camera when I was about 16 years old. My friend came to my house and brought his camera with a couple lenses and he showed me how to use everything. From that moment on an infinite amount of creative possibilities began swarming my brain. While I was in high school, my parent’s house was adjacent to a state park—Great Brook State Park—which is where I started to develop my technical and creative skills.

When I was 20 years old, I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado and began to lose interest in photography. It was very hard for me to keep up my hobby while working 3 jobs and also settling into my new life, so my art got put on hold. When I turned 22, I realized life is too short to spend it doing things you hate, so I decided to quit my job and pick up my camera again. At this point, I’ve been to some pretty cool places and met some very interesting people; all I want to do is experience the world and make lasting memories with great people.
